Desert Wine Shop is a locally-owned and run boutique wine shop with a stellar stock of good wines at a wide range of prices and styles. The staff is well-trained and provide excellent knowledge and recommendations based on your tastes. While the prices range widely, we find they are exceptional at producing good wines for a reasonable price.
They have weekly tastings on Tuesdays and Fridays that are one of the best kept secrets in the valley. They also have an annual wine club membership where you receive 6 hand-selected bottles a month. Typically, it is two whites and four reds but you can request more of one or the other, depending on your preference.

Palm Springs Bottle Shop is a specialty foods and beer & wine market located inside the Mojave Flea Trading Post. They have selected a line of products created, developed, and owned by women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and small business owners.
They also offer a monthly wine club with a diverse selection of wines featuring LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and women creators, owners, and producers called PSBS Wine Share. These wines are available for pickup and delivery in the greater Coachella Valley area.
Palm Springs Bottle Shop adds a very unique quirk to their products, as everything is labeled by color-code according to the identity of the brand. For example, products that are women produced are color-coded by the color orange.
Overall, this is a great stop for fast, friendly, and inclusive service.

Dead or Alive Bar and Shop is a great little wine bar with outdoor sidewalk patio seating. The patio has great views of the mountains to the west. The wine and beer menu has a fabulous variety, including sparkling wines by the glass.
Food can be ordered from the adjacent restaurants (El Mirasol and Gabino’s) and they will deliver it to you to enjoy with your favorite wine. You can buy and take home bottles from their unique and international wine collection. They also have chilled wines and beer for purchase by the bottle.

Monterey Palms Liquor is a lovely local liquor store located in the Monterey Marketplace Shopping Center. They are known for their great customer service, vast variety, and fair prices.
